ABOUT VRPA
Who We Are
Vacation Rental Professionals (VRPA) was established as an association in 2021, by a group of professional vacation rental owners, to rightfully advocate and represent the best interest of vacation rental owners in Aruba, in a professional and diligent manner. In the last few years, the vacation rental industry in Aruba has grown exponentially becoming a pioneer in the lodging industry in Aruba. It has become a necessity to have a professional platform to advocate on behalf of professional vacation rentals and help shape the future of the vacation rental industry in Aruba.
Our vision is to become the collective voice and meaningful advocate for the vacation rental industry in Aruba, elevating the professionalism of the industry and for Aruba to become the first option in the Caribbean for travelers by ensuring superior guest experience and homeowners’ satisfaction.
Our mission is to empower industry improvements and standards through education in best practices and networking opportunities to its members, homeowners, guests, the government, strategic partners and other stakeholders, to promote a leveled playing field with sound regulations to ultimately unlock the full potential of Aruba as a vacation rental destination for the greater good of the community.
VRPA is working together with the Vacation Rental Management Association (V.R.M.A.), Est. 1985 and leverages expert resources and knowledge about the short-term rental industry. The association is committed to upholding the organization’s code of ethics and business practices to help provide guests with a quality, safe lodging experience.

Aruba as short-term rental destination
Aruba is synonymous with fun, happiness and vacation, famous for its divine beaches, wind-sculpted desert landscapes and unique nature experience. Besides the sand, beach, and sun that Aruba has to offer, an important aspect within the tourism industry is lodging. Aruba is ideal for Vacation Rentals – an alternative to staying in a hotel or one of the larger resorts. Rentals of all types and budgets have been on the rise in this area in the last decade.
The growing market of Vacation Rentals on the island is reason to affiliate to a professional organization such as VRPA, to seek support and ensure a professional sustainable growth of the industry and that industry needs are consioucly being considered and met.
